Ht. 5'5", Wt. 143 - Hi Everybody! I was reading a message board for overweight kids (I'm not sure if it was on this site or another site), and I seen a post that said that somebody's mom was going to pay them $1 for every pound they lost. Thanks to whoever said that, I am really motivated now.My mom is going to pay me $1 for every pound I lose. I want to weigh about 100 pounds, so I will get $43 if I achieve my goal. I am going to cut out all candy until I weigh what I want. I am not going to touch a pop until I weigh 100 pounds. I will try not to have any dessert except maybe a tiny sliver of pie once in a while. I also stay up late every night, so during the night when I watch t.v, I am going to walk briskly around the family room, so I can watch tv and exercise at the same time. I have a total gym and I will work out on that. I also want to ride my bike about 2 hours or more per day, and I will also hula-hoop alot and maybe jump rope too. I will drink nothing but water and maybe just a little juice occasionally, and I will only eat when I am hungry and will stop eating when I am full, not just eat for the heck of it like I used to. I am going to eat healthy too. How soon do you think I can lose 43 pounds if I try really really hard and exercise alot and eat healthy? Does anyone have any hints for me to lose weight quickly?

I am healthy unless I go under 92 pounds. I may stop at 110-120 if I can look at myself in the mirror and not feel fat. I want to be healthy and also look good.

Reply from Camille, Age 17 - 08/16/05 - IP#: 70.81.187.xxx Listen to yourself. You are 5'5. Weighing 100 pounds would give you a BMI of less than 17. You are still growing! You can't afford to lose that much weight at your age! Maybe ten pounds, but seriously, more than that and you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
