Ht. 5'4, Wt. 170 - Does anyone noe how many fat calories your supposed to have a day? and what is carbohdrates does that turn in to fat if u dont exersize w/b PLZ
Reply from Catherine, Age 16 - 08/17/05 - IP#: 67.160.93.xxx It doesnt matter how many carbs you have a day, it is calories that matters. There are good carbs and bad carbs though. Good carbs are the whole grains and whole wheat, and fruits. Bad Carbs are sweets and junkfood. The reason they are catorgorized like that is because the good carbs digest slowly to make you stay fuller longer and they have more nutritional value. The bad are full of sugar, trans fat(which are bad for the heart), and other fats like saturated, and doesnt fill you up much at all. Like a slice of white bread and wheat bread may have the same calories, but the wheat bread will keep you fuller longer, and in the long run will make you eat less calories. Cause after a piece of white bread you might go for something else cause it doesnt feed your hunger. I hope you understand. I rattled on a little bit long, but I am just trying to help.

Me im not to have more than 1,910 calories a day. but that has changed now since Ive lost wieght. you could go to http://www.readersdigest.ca/mag/2005/03/daily_counter.html to caculate how many calories you need a day. good luck
