Ht. 5 ft 2in, Wt. 180 - I have a little problem. I weigh a lot more than my mom. I weigh 180 and my mom weighs 119, I feel really, really, bad, I wish I could be my moms weight. I already know that I'm overweight, and I'm trying to fix it, butI'd love to know how to get down to my moms weight and fast, because school starts soon, and I wanna be a little skinnier for school, but I dont knwo how to lose weight fast. Please reply. I would surly like to hear something from someone soon. PLEASE HELP!

There is no way you are going to lose that much weight in a couple of weeks, or however long you have before school starts. It'll probably take 7 months MINIMUM to lose that much weight. But, you should start now, and work really hard all through out the school year, and you will look GREAT for next year. And, by the way, putting on a bunch of sweat shirts and sweats, and running will only make you sweat more. This is only water, and will not help much. Also, it could make you dehydrated, which is very dangerous for your health.

I know how you feel, I was in the same situation, it really sucked knowing that i weighed more than my mom. But after a while, i just started walking a couple times a week (i hadn't changed my eating habits yet) and i lost some weight and thankfully i weigh less than her now.

Is your mom skinny because she eats healthy or does she have a really fast metabolism. If it is that she eats healthy, you could ask her to help you and maybe she could start preparing meals for both of you. I am sorry but you can start eating healthy and exercising, but weight loss isnt fast no matter how much advertisers tell you that it is possible. Otherwise it would be easy. Dont get discouraged and just try eating a little less and the weight will slowly come off, but that all means it will last. Sure you could crash diet, but there is huge risk that you will slow your metabolism down, and could lose weight, but gain it back really quickly and could gain even more.

I dont know what to tell you but you could put on a lot of clothing like sweaters and a lot of pants and run in place or just even just walk around.
