Ht. 4"11, Wt. 165 - hi , im 13 & i way 165 pounds , i always try to lose weight but i either just gain or stay at the same weight , i workout but it never seems to work , & its hard to stay on a diet when there is so much junk food in my house i really just want to look good before summer 2006 , if you have some tips please tell me , my goal is 120 .

yeah listen to those posts there right. the only thing i noticed is that the lower the calories the more food u actually can eat. which is useful when ur limiting your food intake so ur not starving yourself. goodluck :)

I guess your right what I mean is that people do cunches the wrong way and they think that they will eaither lose weight or gain a ton of muscle. When that doesnt happen people get discouraged. Its ok to do crunches and workout but thats only a small part of losing weight. I go by this moto - "WEIGHT LOSS DOES NOT HAPPEN IN THE GYM BUT IN THE KITCHEN" meaning i believe its mostly about cardio and diet.

I disagree with part of what moe said. You should do crunches, and strength training at the gym. This alone won't help you lose weight, but it will build muscle, and the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn daily, just by living. You should do lots of cardio as well though.

Hi, This is what you should do: 1) Eat 1200 calories a day (a little junk food is ok, but try healthy eating) 2) Drink 8 glassess of water a day - it really helps to burn fat and increase your metabolism 3)Exercise for 30-45 minutes 3-5 times a week. 4) Dont do crunches or situps or work out in the gym - its totally useles for losing weight do cardio (moderate heart rate elavating exercise)5) Dont eat after 5:30 pm. Almost everything you eat after 5:30 will be stored as fat. Using this program you can safely lose 2-3 pounds per week. A goal of 120 for your age and height is ok, but once you reach it it would not heart to drop to 100 -110. Good Luck.

Well, ask ur mom or dad-(whoever goes shopping) if they can buy none or very little junk food
replace ur junk food with healthy snax like veggies and low fat dip or fruit or 100 calorie pax its that simple i was t 203 lbs and now im down to 152 i just execised daily and didnt eat any junk food well i hope i helped ~*~$ARAH~*~
