Ht. 5'3 1/2, Wt. 155 - Ever since school started I lost 3 pounds and that was a few weeks ago! I seen on tv that they were advertizing that a lot of people lose weight if you eat 3 meals that are all dairy a day. Do you guys think thats true? If not can you guys give me suggestions of diets and exersizes that I could do daily? I'm starting track on monday so im sure that will help a lot. Right now im 155 and 5'4 and i want to get down to 120 within 3 months

MELISSA keep up the work you are doing now! track will defenetly help! and if you et salads and lots of fruit you will be fine...DAIRY DOES NOT HELP LOSE WEIGHT IT HELP GAIN WEIGHT!!! the more dairy you eat slowly but surly the more weight you gain. they tell ppl with eating disorders like anerexia and balemeia to eat lots of dairy products cause it helps to gain weight..... AND DO NOT EAT ANYTHING RIGHT BEFORE BED:). that is when you gain the most weight, is when you sleep... only if you eat before bed cause your metabolism cannot digest your food. good luck hun

I dont think its true as the key to losing weight is a balanced diet of everything because a lot of dairy foods can be fattening. Even if you do you will put the weight you lsot straight back on afterwards. As for another diet just stick to a balanced diet like one meal of good carbs one of protein and one of like fruit and veg :)
