Ht. 5'1, Wt. 175 - Everytime i do sit-ups and push-ups in PE the lower part of my stomach startz hurtin... why ?

if u have a large gut it could be that u r straining to compress ur stomach. Or have put on weight recently, then it might explain the strain on ur muscles if u have some new weight that wasnt there the last time.

It's because you're working out some muscles that haven't been worked out in a while.If you keep doing them they won't be sore as much.

It is because your body isn't used to using those muscles, just keep doing them and as time passes it will become easier and easier and it won't hurt. I am like the same height as you and I weigh 129lbs but i want to loose like 5-10 kilos because i feel uncomfortable so mayb you could help me out thanks oxoxoxox mwa e-mail me tinkerbell-69@hotmail.com
