Ht. 5'8, Wt. 160 - Is it true that if your body is in "starvation mode" that if you add a couple hundred calories a day you lose more weight because it has to burn more? Thats what ive read on a lot of websites.

you dont "add" calories... your body permently stores them because your body is telling itself that it is not eating. So it saves those calories up.
