Ht. 5'7, Wt. 145 - hey guys i just wanted to let u know (hopefully ityll help someone) that food journals really do work. i was down for alonng time and the only thing that helped me get back up was i finally committed to a food journal . i HATED the idea and thought it sounded obsesive. so i promised id stop keeping it when i got control again. it helps sooo much and instead of getting mad at yourself for not reaching the calorie totoal u wanted, note improvements. i started with about 2500 cal a day an in the past week every day have cut out enough so that im around 1500 and NO junk (chocolate was my vice). im still working on balancing it though. like i need to eat more breakfast and stop havin gnight snacks. i hope this inspires someone else to keep one. just for a week try it! good luck everyone and thanks

Reply from Julie, Age 17 - 10/20/05 - IP#: 4.242.171.xxx Personally, I wouldn't suggest it. I've tried it, and it made me really obsessive, to the point that's all I could think of, and focused on. I would recommend just keeping an idea of what you ate in your head and analyzing it menatally.
