Reply from Usha, Age 15 - 10/24/05 - IP#: 207.200.154.xxx you can do a million crunches, but unless you do some serious cardio and burn off that layer of fat ontop, you won't see them. So the best thing is to keep doing them, but do cardio too so you'll burn the fat off. Crunches etc. will tone your stomach, but they won't get rid of that layer. I heard this from the experts. Hope to have been of some help. Good luck!
Reply from Julie, Age 17 - 10/24/05 - IP#: 4.242.171.xxx Yeah, it's kinda worth it. It just has to be enough. For example, my PE teacher will have us do 100 in a row, or 5 minutes straight, and that's really good. But if you only do a couple, then you're not going to get much of a result. Thinking about it, during the summer, when I was doing Denise Austen's 15 minutes Ab Workout almost everyday, I really had some hard abs ---I just had a bunch of fat covering them. So, my short answer is, yeah it does help for me. Sorry so long, and rambling so much.
