Eating disorders are so much more than health issues. They become such deep emotional problems that will stay with you the rest of your life. I know someone who is in her 40's. She had an eating disorder (I believe bulimia) when she was in college. She still has the emotional scars from it. And not caring about your health? That's just stupid. I have a friend who had an eating disorder, that wasn't really that long, or that serious, a think it was only a couple of years. She has so many health problems now. She has chronic liver failure, she has take weight gaining pills, she has a period that wont stop, and she has been told she'll never be able to have kids, just to name a few. I know this doesn't happen to everyone, but why risk it? I'm not even gonna go into the risks of smoking. Just keep with it. If you do it long enough, maybe you'll lose weight eventually. Maybe you're about to start your period? My weight usually goes up a few pounds around that time.

Okay, I know you are upset, but it is important for you NOT to starve yourself and NOT to start smoking! Do you look thinner? I know you will be angry for me saying this, but it is probably muscle weight that you have gained. Your WEIGHT doesn't matter as long as you are healthy! Since you have been healthy your whole life, it is okay to weigh this much. Besides, the more muscle you get the more energy you will have to work out and therefore burn more fat, regardless of what muscle weight you gain. I know this is awful, but many people judge on looks. A guy is more likely to ask out a thinner girl that weighs 160 pounds than a less thin girl that weighs 140 pounds. It's confusing, I know, but it's life. No starnger should come up to you and ask your weight! And if someone asks, it's none of their business! You seem like a very healthy person, and you are about my height and my goal weight is about 4.5 pounds less than what you weigh (goal is 160). You shouldn't worry! If you are really that upset, talk to your doctor or gym teacher or fitness instructor or anyone that you think can help! Just stay healthy!
