Ht. 5'5", Wt. 200ish - What do you guys think of my idea to take a week just to get my diet started before starting cardio next week?Is it a good idea or bad?To me, dieting is harder than exercising.I haven't had any junk food or pop all day, plus I've drank 4 goin on 5 bottles of 16 oz water.

I know exactly what you mean about dieting being more difficult than exercising. I too have had this problem for several months, exercising several hours a day and then when night rolls around eating a huge amount. This can be a huge problem when it comes to weight loss, especially if youre eating late at night, like I unfortunately do. A very thin friend of mine put in perspective for me the other day. He said think of it as, not drinking one can of coke can save you a half hour on the treadmill. I understand his point, but its hard to put it into practice. Good luck to you and I hope your diet goes well.Sorry for the lenghty post.

First I would take "diet" out of the equasion. You need to eat moderately and sensibly. No fast-foods those are the ultimate culprit. Exersize daily at least 4 days a week, but don't kill yourself while doing it. Drink plenty of fluids daily, it worked for me and i've lost 138 pounds, I hope I helped and good luck!!!

Theres never a wrong time to start dieting! Starting now is a great idea! Mabye you'll drop a few lbs before next week. Plus you'll feel better, when you do "Cardio".
