Ht. 6'1'', Wt. 220 - Ive been trying to gain some momentum on my weight loss for several months now but cant seem to say no to the cravings. Ive had a terrible time when it comes to dieting. Over the past 3 years I have lost 50 pounds and then gained back 80 pounds. Thinking about the 80 lbs I gained back really frustrates me a lot. I said to myself I would never let myself get fat again, but sure enough I went back to my old ways after a death in the family. Does anyone have any tips on permanently breaking the emotional connection with food? Any advice appreciated.

Reply from Megan, Age 16 - 11/02/05 - IP#: 4.227.245.xxx Hey Shawn, I had the same problem.. except mine came in 4's... 4 people died in 2 years.. sucked .. but you just have to be able to say.. thats it I don't want to look like this anymore and I'm not going to be over weight anymore.. you have to just want to so badly nothing can stop you. Whenever I eat high calorie foods I feel really bady now because I know the people in my family that are now gone wouldnt mind me eating these foods but, they wouldn't want me to feel horrible about being overweight. Lose weight, not just for apparences .. but for your happiness. If you need someone to talk to email me ..reesespieces385@yahoo.com, pseudoreality38@hotmail.com you lose it... I know you can... keep your head up
