Ht. 5'6", Wt. 225 - Just a little bad news I thought I'd share (considerate of me, huh?). I've been to this site before, but for those who don't remember, two years ago I was the same height and weighed 125 lbs. Now the first bad news is that my weight has increased a bit since I was last on this site (due to my lack of commitment to weight loss).
The second bad news is that I once again had to confront the issue of my weight gain in school. In science we were "weighed in" for some work on gravity, which was bad enough for someone in my position. What made it worse was that a friend of mine, who was always the "short, fat" one of our group, weighed in at 42 lbs less than me, and he's an inch taller to boot. Needless to say he was glad of this outcome, and I was mightiy embarrassed.
To be that much heavier than him when he's actually not lost any weight really startled me. It shows how noticeable the change has been for me, going from being of average height and skinny to being shorter and fatter than most. And this is going to increase my commitment to weight loss, as I want this to change.
