Ht. not important, Wt. also not important - OK, so let me first say that I am not "overweight," but my girlfriend (who is awesome in every single way) is. We have been dating for about a month and a half, and I never thought it was a problem until tonight. It seemed like out of the blue, she started crying and telling me she couldn't see me anymore. For a long time, she wouldn't tell me why, but she finally confessed that SHE thought that I shouldn't have to put up with being the boyfriend of a fat girl. She showed me this site, saying that she went on here secretly to try to lose weight FOR ME without letting me know, but she just felt so ashamed about her weight that, even though she likes me, she had to break up with me. I told her time and time again that I like her the way she is (and I really do!), but I don't think she can believe me, and this is the saddest thing ever to happen to me. Now I know that there are really some guys out there that care about their girls for what they are and are not all out to find girls that look like models, but like them for who they are inside. Infact I've known my current girlfriend for the past 3 years, since year 9 - I never asked her out until year 11 study leave before my GCSEs! I would have asked her out long ago if she hadn't been *gasp* fat - though I had always been extremely attracted to her (more than any other girl I have ever known). I wish I'd always been this strong and accepting. There are people out there who will love you whatever your size.
