Ht. 5'6", Wt. 193 - yep- you read correctly. i have gained 2 lbs after a week and a half of good eating and a fair amount of exersize. i am the last person to blame medications like birth control for weight gain because i always knew that the way i had been eating was not good before and that any weight gain was my fault. um...so why am i sdtill gaining weight? especially since i am at such a high weighrt- i should be losing weight like crazy right now! yeah- i have no idea what the hell is wrong with my body- i really wish i knew...

if you're eating healthy and exercising... then make sure to watch your portion sizes. just because it's healthy doesn't mean you can eat as much of it as you want to. also... you need to exercise to the point where your heart is actually racing. jogging will help you do this really easily.

You probably didn't gain 2 pounds of muscle in a week. I dont think that's possible. It could just be your body readjusting. I know it sounds weird, but I've noticed my body always have a delayed reaction. Just keep it up, analyze your eating, and see if there's anything you can do. Good luck.

It could also be that your gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. So, you could really be losing weight and gaining muscle

yeah, if you weighed yourself in the morning then at night, that would cause you to look like you weighed more. maybe your eating healthy, but your eating more calories then you think you are. take a close look at what your eating

Did you weigh yourself in the morning or night?
This could be a factor because you weigh less in the morning.
