Ht. 5'6'', Wt. 152 - Hey people. I have a simple question. I work out 5 or 6 days a week, and since the football season has ended I've been in the weight-room almost everyday for 3 weeks. I have also DECREASED what I usually eat since I'm not getting the same amount of excercise from all that running in practice. I've still managed to gain about 4 pounds in just a couple of weeks. Could this be muscle? Also, everyday after I work-out I always weight a pound of two more, and then it seems to go away the next day. What's up wit dat?

Well it could be muscle or water weight. If you've decreased your eating and your working out more then you could have lost weight and it could be muscle.

By the sound of it, you're not doing any cardio. That probably has a lot to do with it. I, personally, doubt that you have gained 4 pounds of solid muscle in just a couple of weeks. I don't know why your weight goes up after working out. I do that to, but dont have any reason for that.
