Ht. 5'0", Wt. 124 - Hi there, I have a couple of questions. I have been tryin to lose weight ever since June of 2005. So far I have lost 13 lbs.(my goal is to get down to 110) I dont think it looks like it at all and no one has noticed so i am kind of discouraged. I have been slowly gaining back weight which hasnt been helping my attitude. I was wondering if anyone knows if the reason why it doesnt look like i have lost weight is because it isnt enough to notice or its because i have probably been focusing on calories more then how much fat i take in? Because i mean i have lost weight but i havent lost the fat around the belly and chest area (which the chest area is really embaressing for a guy :( ) I hope someone has some answers or tips to help me lose the actual fat so i look thinner.

I think it depends how quickly you dropped the weight. If it was done gradually during the school year people may not have picked up on it as quickly as if maybe you had lost it over the summer and then saw you again the next school year.

hey, u didnt mention whether or not you have been exercising but one way ppl mite not have noticed is that if u havent been exercising, you may have lost 13lbs of fat but you wont have toned up enough to see that the skin is tighter i.e on ur belly!

dont be discouraged it takes about 20 lbs lost before people notice, plus some people might notice and jst not tell you

well maybe when you lost 13lbs were were at that point were if you lost a little more like 2-3 pounds it would of looked more obveous... I lost 14lbs and ppl were saying that i looked a lil different but it might be different for guys! Keep going and good Luck!!
