Ht. 5'6, Wt. 182 - I've been on this diet for about a week now. I eat yogurt and a small bowl of cheerios for breakfast,for lunch I eat 2 granola bars,and for dinner I eat a sandwich with pretzels and a three muskateer bar for desert. After dinner I walk a mile everyday and I drink water and occasionally a diet dr. pepper. With this diet I've lost 6lbs.How am I doing?

Then at about 1030 i have a small snack 100 calories or less! then for lunch i have a salad with a tangerine and water! and for supper I have grilled chicken or a hamburger patty! with ABOUT 15 PRETZELS! THEN SOME WATER! This is the girl who has until february!!! THANKS!!!

I have 99% fat free turkey burger meat and it is soo good, all these kinds of meat have no carbs, so no worries there:), and their high in protein which will help you lose weight! And for your friend, how much does she want to lose by the end of February? I'd suggest that she just stay away from breads, pasta.. haha you know, all the good stuff. Eating few carbs makes you lose weight pretty fast, atleast for me it does. If I'm up for breakfast, I usually eat a scrambled egg or two. Lunch, I always have a salad, and usually a hamburger with no bun and mustard. I really don't snack at all during the day but if I do it's a piece of fruit like an orange, apple, or every once in a while an avocado. Dinner, I make sure I have some kind of vegetable like asparagus or broccoli.. or another salad and some kind of meat. I always measure EVERYTHING to make sure that I don't go over the serving size and at the end of the day I write down everything that I ate and how many calories it is. It really makes you look at what you are, and to see how you can better your diet for the next days. This has been working for me, my weight is already coming off rapidly again. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Reply from Anna, Age 17 - 01/11/06 - IP#: 69.215.3.xxx Good, but the 3 musketeer bar you could definitely go without.. especially every night after dinner. Maybe onec a week is okay. You should add some kind of lean meat for protein, and try some veggies or fruit too! Good job on the 6 pounds!!
