oh and also. if you want to kick start your weight loss, you should cut out all sodium for 3 or 4 days and you will lose all your water weight which can be about 5-7 pounds.. but everyone is different

fruit and veggies are absolutely great.
if your looking for something else though, you can have rice cakes which are delicious and low in cals.
also low cal jello is awesome.
a couple of egg whites (beaten until frothy then cooked in a non-stick fry pan without butter or oil ) on a piece of toast are low cal and filling (but make sure you don't use butter or margarine on the toast. in fact you should try to cut out butter, margarine etc.)
Salsa is awesome aswell. Instead of having it with chips, you can have it with celery
or with Joseph's low carb high protein pita bread. Each pita has 60 cal, 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. there might be A similar thing in your supermarket.
Meal sizes should also be reduced. here is a guide line for appropriate serving sizes
The right portion ... Is about the size of ...
3 oz. of meat or poultry- A cassette tape
3 oz. of grilled fish- Your checkbook
½ cup of pasta or rice- An ice cream scoop
1 oz. of cheese- 4 stacked dice
1 cup fresh greens- A tennis ball
1 oz. of pretzels or other snack foods- A large handful
1 medium fruit or a small potato- Your computer mouse
1 teaspoon of butter or margarine- A Scrabble tile
1 ounce of bread or 1 small roll- A Yo-Yo
I'm sorry for the long post but i hope i helped

Goldfish have tons of salt in them, and baked lays do too I'm sure. You should watch your sodium because it'll retain water weight...
