Ht. 5'5", Wt. not sure - I bring my own lunches to school since the schools' lunches are so fattening and discusting. Can you guys please give me ideas on what the main part of the meal could be? Like everyday I bring a PB sandwhich on wheat bread! I need easy ideas for main parts of lunches.
Reply from laura, Age 18 - 02/12/06 - IP#: 69.47.203.xxx i agree school lunches are greasy and gross. maybe u could try brinning a healthy soup in ure theormos, that usually fills me up. surprisingly celery or even carrots with some low fat all natural peanut butter fill my craving for going up and buying cookies or icecream with my lunch. pieces of diced chicken breast in a salade can be good too with a light dressing. it beats just a bowl of lettuce.

Or, even if you aren't on the diet, South Beach Diet lunch kits are really good! If you would still be hungry pack a 100 cal. pack and a piece of fruit!
Reply from jackie, Age 13 - 02/09/06 - IP#: 71.115.205.xxx i'm with ya on the fattening school lunches thing--ugh! i watch what my friends eat and it's Disgusting! anyhoo--i bring salads, soups, and pre-packaged frozen entrees. this may not fit in with your schedule or life style or whatever, but i'll tell you anyway: i eat small meals every 2-4 hours, so at lunch i have about a 200-300 cal meal, then after i get home from school and before i go to basketball practice i have a 100-300 cal snack. it helps a TON for energy during bball practice, and i feel full till dinner God BLess!!~Jackie
