Ht. 5'7, Wt. 220 - Man for two weeks I was doing good. Then yeaterday I ate everything. Chinese food, fried chicken, cake everything. It wasn't that I was binging and was that I kind of start thinking whats the point of me being on a diet. Everybody says that I am not big. and for some reason being at the weight I am. I really don't look big. I look like I'm like 165. But I know what the scale says and I know what I feel so I guess I just need to stay motivated and just keep going. It's hard though. I'm tryna lose like 50 pounds for the summer. So wish me good luck and good luck to ya'll!!!

They think I weigh less because I am really tall for my age. (I am 10 and 5'3") You should diet if your doc. says you are overweight because he/she knows what is right for you!

I also am told i look like i weigh 160, not 209. the thing is I dont really have alot of muscle at all. maybe you can go to your dr, they can tell you how much muscle mass you have that way you dont diet and lose all of your muscle ( that would make losing fat very difficult). my dr gave me advice, dont go by the scale as much as going by how your clothes fit. if you do weight lifting or even walking alot you will probably over time gain a few pounds in muscle, not fat. anyways im just rambling, good luck with your weight loss, i think 50 lbs by the summer is a reasonable goal!
Reply from Elizabeth, Age 14 - 02/12/06 - IP#: 72.129.212.xxx You probably don't look big b/c maybe you have a lot of muscle weight. Muscle weighs more then fat you know. Ppl say I look like I weigh 140pds but I'm 165 but that's b/c I have a lot of muscle weight and it's my build too. I'm 5'8.
