Ht. 5'5 1/2, Wt. 178 - I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING I JUST GAINED ALOT OF WEIGHT I NEED HELP IM ATHLETIC DONT KNOW WHATS THE PROBLEM I DONT EAT MUCH AND STILL CAN SOME ONE GIVE ME TIPS OR TELL ME WHAT THEY DID TO LOOSE A FEW POUNDS.

I'm a diabetic and maybe you could try to go on a low carb diet and only eat one portion of meat (the size of your palm) at every meal. This is my diet maybe it will help. At breakfast I have 2 scoops of oatmeal and eggs ( free food because it has no carbs) and I have 3 pieces of turkey. At lunch I eat half a cup of pasta (1 carb) and barbeque chicken (1 and 1/2 carbs) For snacks I have 1 bag of baked chips. A very important thing to do to try to loose weight is excercising. I agree with laura go to the Dr. But befor u do, what kinds of food u eat is very important. If you eat little but it's all junk, that could be the problem. And btw, don't starve urself. Ur metabolism slows dow and makes it harder to LOOSE weight! Good luck!

if ure athletic and gained alot of weight all of a sudden or for what seems like obvious reason then i would go to the dr, u may have a thyroid problem that they could treat with simple medicine. if thats the case then diet and exercise wont do alot of good for u anyways.
