Ht. 5'7, Wt. N>219G>165 - Is it possible to tone your stomach up by doing crunches even if you have fat around you're stomach cause that is all I need to lose is my stomach and I know you can't target where you want to lose but people say you can so i don't know but I wanna lose 55 pounds by the first of june and I got everything down but I can't help eating something fried or pizza every now and then its like I do so good on my diet during the week but when the weekend comes I eat everthing. So any good advice or exercises to do for my stomach would be really good to hear. Good luck to everybody!!!!!!!!!!! also tell me if you think its possible for me to lose 55pounds by june 1st

YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE!!!!! You can't lose weight in just one part of your body. Crunches will help build the muscles in your stomach, but they wont help you lose the fat on your stomach. To lose the fat you have to do cardio.

I guess if you were to stick with the program night and day, exersize for an hour every day, and eat less food, you might loose that much by mid-june. However, if you want a more easy plan, I would say... try to loose 30 lbs buy June 1, that would let you exersize about 4-5 times a week, 30-45 minutes, and cheat a lil' at parties and other stuff. I always find it easier when i set a more realistic goal as opposed to something that would push me to the limit.
