Ht. 52, Wt. 188 - hi, i have abosouletly no excuse why i should not be loosing weight i have the most supportive parents in the world were not that rich so i can't go and get a gym membership i hate working out and i think of every excuse in the book to not work out i have been trying to loose weight since i was 9 years old and i have done is gone from 70 pounds to 188 i know i am overweight it seems like all my friends can put thier minds to it and burn them caloried i have a huge stomach that sticks out outside of my pants. BUt butt is huge so big i can never find jeans then my thigs are so big then my arms like flap all the time and i have streach marks on my arms and stomach it annoys me i need some way to get confident to do this cause i am not sheding any pounds whenever i workout my pants seem to get tighter and shirts get tighter to i have been working out for 4 days straight nad my pants got tighter maybe they shrunk in the wash but i don't think so SOMEONE HELP ME!

Reply from Karena, Age 12 - 02/28/06 - IP#: 68.253.49.xxx Dear Kelly, i'm just like you, in fact i weigt the same as you. the only difference is that all my friends are skinny. they don't make a deal about it though. they treat me the same as if i was like them. when i was little, i use to be so skinny, then i don't know what happened. i use to be in swimming, soccer, gymnastics,tumbling,and dancing. i think it might be a genetic thing because my mom and dad is fat. but my dad is losing weight. you know what my dad does to lose weight? he DRINKS LOTS OF WATER. all he drinks is water. he prabably lost about 30 pounds by drinking water. but its not like he dosen't drink sprite when we go out to eat, but he drinks more water than sprite. my dad don't even work out, all he does is drink. write me back as soon as you can. -Karena

I've been trying to lose weight for forever lol but believe me you CAN do it! all you rele have to do is work out like u've been doing if u dont like working out you dont have to EVERYDAY no less than 3 times a week though i'd recommend working out friday,saturday and sunday night or in the morning w.e and just cut down on your portion sizes and try not to eat after 7 (its hard i know lol) and if u want something crunchy like chips have rice cakes and u can get them the same flavor as your favorite chips! do tht for a couple of months and i rele rele sure u'll loose the weight =)
