Ht. 5'4", Wt. 160 - for lent i am giving up chips, chocolate, peanut butter, bagles since i eat them way to much, little debbie snack cakes [i eat them like i drink water], soda even tho i hate it, ice cream,and donuts, this is what i gave up last year too except the bagles and ice cream part, and i did it without a problem, but last year at this time i was only like 140 pounds so it will be hard. And i have a question, if people say like i lost 20 pounds by drinking a lot of water...well water is the only thing i drink besides milk, orange juice, and apple juice, i drink about 5 maybe 6 water bottles a day and i am exercising but i am stil not losing weight all i do is gain,should i ask my doctor about it? i am so confused lol thanks all who reply =]

Oh my gosh, you are giving up a lot! I only gave up ice-cream because I eat it every night. Good luck!

yes u can lose weight by drinking alot of water..but u have 2 add in the dieting and exercising part..i dont drink that much water and ive lost over 20 lbs by exercising and dieting (more of the dieting than exercising)
