Ht. 5'7, Wt. 165 - So I eat healthy and I work out like everyday. Some days going up to the gym and doing cardio and lifting, and other days at home doing dance dance revolution for an hour burning 700 calories. Why do you guys think that the weight isnt coming off me as fast as it should be. I work out and probably eat healthier than other people who are dropping pounds. ughh im just so frustrated. i mean ive lost like 10 lbs. but 10 since january. like its been a while. alright sorry i had to vent

real weight lost doesnt happen fast...the average is 1/2 - 1 1/2 lb per week on a 1500 calorie diet.
the ppl who are dropping weight fast...like 5 lbs per week are probably starving themselves so theyll get the weight back fast or else its just water weight. 10 lbs is greatttt dont worry just kepp it up!!

I know what u mean it's very furstrating, becuase there used to be about 4 or five of us "big" girls in class but now there's only 3 and I am one, but them something surprised me. Today I ate Chinese for lunch on a school trip and felt horribly guilty, even though I was the healthiest one there cuz the giys ate like chicken, ribs, and pork rice, but i was still so ashamed. I went home and weighed myself, and I actually LOST weight in a few days! Lol different people's metabolism work differently. just keep going and ur body will start adjusting soon!

I know its seem like alittle but a pound a week is better than most people, most people are lucky to lose half a pound a week even with what u do, in the end its all worth it. keep going or u'll gain it all back and wish u would have stuck to it

same thing has happened to me, but i have been biking on a stationary bike for about 25-40 minutes but i am starting to increase my workouts to 60-90 minutes on that bike, I eat cereal every morning, a granola bar with water for lunch and a very healthy dinner with snacks and fruits in between, lots of water too, i'm going to try to lose 6 more pounds by the end of march and april 1st i am starting slimfast with 90+ minutes of biking to see how much I can lose, i wish you luck, but yeah i had the same problem with DDR, its fun and addicting but its a slower process than intense cardio like biking and running

The reason why you aren't losing as fast as some people are, is because you are getting really close to your healthy weight range, and it makes it harder to lose weight faster.
