Ht. 5'4", Wt. 165 - Hey. I'm Margo. Omg i totally know what one of you said about the snacks...i swear i used to eat whatever i could sneak when I was alone...crackers, ice cream, popcorn, you name it. I've put myself on diets a lot, but I always give up and say "what's the use?" But my formal is in June and i do not want to go in a fat dress..i want this gorgeous dress that is really expensive. My mom said she'd buy it if I lost the weight i want to lose. Well, it's been a month since I started and I've lost 7 pounds!
This is what I do:
At lunch at school I get a turkey or tuna wrap, skim milk, and either a little fruit or salad --light on the dressing
For dinner, i eat whatever's around but only one helping.
For breakfast I grab a slimfast bar, a pear or apple, or a small bowl of cereal
I HAVE SNACKS. two a day. Just a piece of fruit or a slimfast or granola bar. Do not cut out snacks, you'll starve. Having snacks actually SPEEDS UP your metabolism! Yes its true! As long as their small, filling, and healthy and you only have one between breakfast-lunch and one lunch-dinner, you're fine! If you go to bed late after dinner and you're hungry...DONT snack!!!! Anything you eat after about 7-8 at night turns instantly to fat because your metabolism has shut down!!! go to bed hungry if you can and you won't even be hungry in the morning..get used to the hunger and you're stomach will shrink.
Excercise:
I have DDR, have you heard of it? but you don't need to buy that. Mine's on the fritz, so i do about 20 sit-ups, try to do 5-10 push-ups (i suck sat those), and do 3 sets of 20 bends on each side to get rid of "love handles"..that just means you put your hands on your hips and bend to the side till you feel your muscle stretch 20 times on each side, 3 times.
GET MOTIVATED THATS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN DO THIS. IT WORKS! and i didn't get it from any diet program it just makes sense and it worksssss!!!
