Ht. 5'6, Wt. 164 - I think Im starting to get obsessed about my weight. I am weighing myself a few times a day,get mad if i gained a pound,or stayed the same. I feel like I cant eat anything but slimfast I feel like even having a wrap will make me gain weight, help.
Reply from Cassie, Age 15 - 04/02/06 - IP#: 64.17.71.xxx yeah i just got a new scale...last one broke...and really i've been weighing my self all the time during the day. but i just ignore the numbers...i usually notice i gain like 3 pounds after i eat...and usually if i dont eat it i dont have the 3 pounds off. I weight the less right when i wake up in the morning. I notice it gradually going down while i'm on my diet and exercise. So really just start weight urself once a day in the morning...just watch it go down.

That way, they can see the small weight creeping on (1 or 2 pounds) instead of waiting until the end of the week when they gained 5. It also is more motivating if you see your weight daily. It helps you stay focused.

It helped them be confident, and it reminded them when they needed to step it up a bit. But that is only one time and in the morning!

But i realized that even the days that i didnt do so great like id have fast food, i would not gain anything back. but i just didnt let it happen so much. try to focus your attention on something else instead, like a guy you like, (worked for me) set a day where you can weigh yourself once a week and put away the scale (if possible) and just take it out once a week. and realize that you have to eat 3 solid meals a deal, with little snacks in between, or else once you lose your weight, and oare confident, and you start eating more you might gain it back. good luck! =]
