Ht. 6'0, Wt. 220 - bad weekend (Friends house all weekend)...going shopping soon for spring break and not looking forward to it my sisters takeing me and shes 120 pounds and 5'10 and i hate going into all the stores where a large looks like a extra small it wouldnt even fit half me...ill be happy when im 100 pounds lighter and a medium or small is loose...does any one else just wanna cry when they walk into one of those stores and sees all the happy skinny ppl trying on clothes? i know i do. tips or input THANKS

Reply from brittney, Age 14 - 04/02/06 - IP#: 24.45.138.xxx i know how you feel. my favoriteeeee stores are Aeropostale and American Eagle and i see all those skinny girls trying on the clothes and complaining to their friends that they are fat, and look at them and they look like anorexic. and i get almost all my shirts from those stores and i just buy a large, and buy pants from stores like Old Navy and stores like that, like Lizzie said. its a very good store. good luck

I hate going shopping with my friends because they're all skinny and go into the really hip-cool clothing stores that don't even go over a size 13. It really sucks i know. But i try to have fun with my friends anyway. I'm usually more happier when i shop with overweight friends or just my mom. Thats when i can go into the larger stores. like fashion bug, lane bryant, old navy, sometimes maurices, sometimes DEB, torrid is a REALLY good store for overweight teens. but yeah i try not to look at the what i call it...'old lady stores' with all these plus sizes. well yeah i wish you the best of luck with shopping!
