(sounds gross but could be serious) 2) dose she tire easly? 3) dose she have any constaint health complaints like stomach pain, head achs or anythin g else? Please, ask your daughter these questions! it could help figure out the problem. See, a diet camp may not work if that is what she is eating at home. it could be somthing much larger then the diet, as i have said before.
Reply from juliet, Child's Age 12 - 10/31/03 - IP#: 195.93.32.xxx in reply to jo i didnt think my daughter was that overweight either she is about 5 foot and weighs 126 pound but when i was refered to a specialist he said in front of her if she doesnt cut back now she will be fat all her life.i even wrote a food diary for him to see she does not eat rubish, she always eats breakfast igive her a packed lunch containing atuna bagette water an orange and low fat crisps and tea is chicken rice and veg or something simular she only snacks on fruit. even after i showed him this diary he still said she had to cut back i thought it might be puppy fat myself he said no and he is the specialist. please dont think i compare her to my other children my point was i feed them all the same and they are all different sizes so if the doctors are right and i was over feeding my children they would all be big.i am very worried about her weight as on her dads side of the family there is lots of heart problems which is why i thought of weight loss camp as nobody wants to help me i dont know what to do. i must add my daughter is popular confident and beatiful i am not worried about her looks but her health thank you for replying its nice to have someones view
Reply from Joseph, Child's Age 19 - 10/31/03 - IP#: 192.108.16.xxx No! weight loss camps are a horrible idea! 16 pounds isnt really that much. your daughter may not be loosing due to the fact of puberty. never compair her to your other children, all children are different. just let her exersise and eat healthy. weight loss camps are a horrible idea!!! be there for her and support her, dont ship her off to one of those places.
