Hi, my daughter is 12 yrs old, 5'2'' and weighs 152 lbs, she's pretty active - she walks our 2 dogs, bowls for two hours every Sat. dances, and a bunch of little things like going up 5 flights of stairs at my fathers. But...she has terrible eating habbits, shes's very picky so if i take out all the junk food from my house she complains of having nothing to eat, so i buy the junk again. What can i do to make her eat better? ...and stick with it?

Ok, this is what to do.... instead of buying junk food, buy food you hgave bothnever eaten, and mix it with something you KNOW she likes (not the junk tho) Then,every night, you can see how she likes it. She may not want to try it, im like that.... but make her... she will say its icky just to make u think she doesnt like it, but if she doesnt spit it out.....

OK, as everyone else said DO NOT BUY HER THE JUNK FOOD! If she complains that there's nothing to eat just get her some fruit or veggies and tell her to eat that! If she doesn't eat it tell her she can go hungry! (I am pretty sure she will eat the healthy stuff eventually!) the main thing is to remember that your just hurting her by getting her the junk food! hope I helped, JJ

OK, screw the cover-up with the 'Oh, she is pretty active'. All she needs to do is find some healthy food that she likes. Try giving her nice, tasty foods like cantalope, asparagus, broccoli, tuna, chicken, ect. Ask her doctor for more help finding good foods that she might like. DO NOT continue to buy her junk food! You may think you are making her happy, and you probably are, I mean, she IS getting her way, but really, you are hurting her health and her future.
