Does anyone have a diet that my daughter can go on to? She is 5'5 and 198 pounds. She is up for losing weight, and really wants to, and I want to help her...So if there is anything that anyone knows of that can help her lose weight, i would greatly appreciate of you could tell me!

my son age 11 and my neice age 14 are on the atkins diet. they have both lost weight.He has lost 10-15 and she has lost about 25.You have to be very disciplined. You need to stay under 20 carbs a day for the first 2 weeks. you should get the book for more details...it has a carb counter for eating at home and alot of the restaurants are trying to accomodate. I am a teen who actually lost 10 pounds on my diet and am still losing! All you have to do is eat three balanced meels a day resist second helpings No junk food and work out on like a mini - trampoline or something whenever you watch the t.v

Talk to her. See what food habits she is willing to change. Take one habit at a time. As you add a habit, add just a little exercise, until it balances out and the weight starts coming off slowly. Celebrate small successes and make small goals so they don't give up.
