Hi guys, First off, Happy Holidays! Well my daughter lost 20 lbs and now weights 120. Yet she think she needs to shed 10 more to be at her "ideal weight". Shes 5'2'' and very muscular. IS 110 is an ideal weight or 120? Hope to hear from you all soon! God bless.

Reply from kathryn, Child's Age 17 - 02/22/05 - IP#: 84.160.134.xxx if she is very muscular then her ideal weight might be higher. Muscle weighs more then fat, so if you have lots of muscle then you might be overweight on the scale, but no unhealthy. you should ask her doctor, he can tell whats muscle and whats fat!

Reply from Catherine, Child's Age 15 - 01/01/05 - IP#: 24.19.141.xxx Make sure you congradulate her, and tell her how proud you are of what she has accomplished, for her height, 110 would be fine, but it is what ever she feels comfortable at, and tell her that it is ok to stay betwwen 110 and 120. You should stay 5 to 10 pounds of her goal weight. Just so she doesnt yo yo diet, cause thats not good on the heart.
