Hi - I have a 13 year old boy soon entering 8th grade at 5'0 and 140 pounds. I would like to find an e-mail pen pal for him for moral support. Any parents have a son near the same age that might be interested in the same sort of moral support? To e-mail me - please write ncstorrs@aol.com

My son is entering the 8th grade at 6' 2" and about 265 so I know how much your son needs moral support from a peer. I will talk with my son but he really doesn't do anything on the computer but I will talk to him about it. Either way, good luck to you and your son and be strong for him. Work on his confidence and talk with him about ways to handle situations at school. I am so sick of schools telling kids that they need to just ignore the rude kids. Makes me want to go to the school and follow the principal and guidance couselors around making rude comments and see if they can "ignore" it. Somehow I doubt they could.

My son went into 8th grade at 170 lbs. Mabye he'll talk to yours!
