Hi everyone it has been awhile since i have been on here. As yall probably remember my daughter was very large and obese at 432lbs just four months ago. I took her to the doctor today and found out she has gained almost 40 more pounds in a matter of months. she is very close to reaching 500lbs and i am very scared about that. She doesn't seem to care about the weight she gains she just keeps eating and sneaking food. I am not sure what to do at this point. Please if anyone has any good solutions that will help her in any way please tell me as soon as possible i need help fast. Thank you to all, bye.

Reply from Ben, Child's Age 13 - 11/17/08 - IP#: 66.79.92.xxx Take her to a weight-loss clinic. She is super morbidly obese, and gaining that much weight that fast..its terrible.
Reply from Sarah, Child's Age 15 - 11/02/08 - IP#: 129.49.7.xxx I remember you posted that a year ago your daughter Brittany was 368, but then a few months later she weighted 432, and now she's gained 40 more pounds. How much dus she wiegh now? Wut does she look like? Maybe if u take her to the doctr more than one every few months, she'll stop geining wieght so fast.

Reply from Taylor - 11/01/08 - IP#: 75.66.64.xxx I know it may seem extreme, butyou may want to look into putting your daughter in a inpatient treatment center for eating disorders. There are clinics who can help her lose weight. She won't be able to sneak food, and will get only foods that are okay for her to eat. Her diet will most likely be planned out by a nutritionist or doctor, and they'll also mae sure she gets enough exercise. She'll also be able to meet people who struggle with their weight as well, and maybe she'll feel more motivated to lose weight, if everyone around her is trying too. It may be hard to think about sending her to a clinic like this, but with her being so heavy, and gaining weight so rapidly, her life is at extreme risk. Even if you don't use my suggestion, I hope you DO find a way to help her. Both of you will be in my prayers.
