Reply from Taylor, Child's Age 15 - 06/25/09 - IP#: 75.66.40.xxx Really, she's at a healthy weight, and she's probably going through puberty, and as long as there are no weight associated healthty problems, she should just eat healthy and try to MANTAIN that weight. Not lose weight, that could end up being unhealthy, but she needs to mantain it. She can do sit ups and such to TONE her belly area, but from her height and weight, she probably doesn't have so much weight too lose, even if she carries most of the weight in her belly area, there still isn't too much to lose, so she should just tone. Most girls feel insecure about their bodies at her age, I know I did, and I still do. Just work on her self-esteem, and seeing herself as the beautiful person she is.

Reply from Kate - 06/13/09 - IP#: 68.39.11.xxx I think right now its puberity that is making her tummy big. Just remeber, she is going to be growing...alot. Do not put her on a diet, but do have eat right. Puberity is a HARD time for all kids. Also remember, a boys body is much different then a girls.Girls in general carry more weight due to the fact that one day her body will be ready to have children.
