child is my foster granddaughter. She weighs well over 300 pounds closer to 400, I think. I am trying to help her with clothing and advice.
The main problem I am faceing is hygene. When approached as delicately as I could manage she said she cannot reach to wipe after bowl movement thus odor.
Is there a secret to doing this as I was left with no answer for her. Help.

The best way is to reach back from between the legs, I think. But really, she needs to lose weight to be healthy.

If your granddaughter needs help properly cleaning after doing her "business in the bathroom" while under your care, then you as a grandmother need to help her out. Her mother also needs to help her clean herself. If your granddaughter needs help at the bathroom after relieving herself then she probably also needs help while taking a shower or bath. Remember she is almost 400 pounds simple everyday tasks we take for granted are harder for her or impossible to do.

Is it that she can't reach to wipe in the front because her belly gets in the way? I guess she could try to lift it up to move it out of the way.It's probably uncomfortable to lean on it or push it in,but just for the few seconds I think she could do it. She really is too old for help,but maybe she needs you for that? If she has problems in the bathroom is she getting clean when taking a shower? Maybe she needs to take a bath with help?For clothes just trey shopping woman's plus and sticking with the strechy things.Not "cute" but some stuff is better than others. Try JCP.

I understand what you are saying i suffered that when I was younger. Have her wipe with wet wipes. Or after he pees to wipe from the from with vinegar. It will reduce the smell.
