I have a very fat daughter who just continues to gain out of control. She is constantly getting bigger and I don't know how to stop it. I've tried everything. Does anyone have any stories I can tell to scare her into weight loss?

I don't really have a story to scare your daughter but I wanted to let you know there are those of us out there that can relate to what u are going through with your daughter. My girlfriend and her son moved in to my house a few months ago. Since they moved in I've seen some very disturbing things. Her son is only 10 years old but weighs over 300lbs and is less than 5' tall. It's become quite obvious the reason he is so big is his mother has been enabling him. He sits around all day long playing video games, watching TV and stuffing his face with food. He never goes outside or does anything physical. He has become so lazy he actually wont get up to use the bathroom sometimes and goes in his pants instead. His mother not only allows this but actually waits on him hand and foot giving him everything and anything he wants then cleans up the huge mess he leaves sitting there. I've tried to talk to my girlfriend about how unhealthy this is for the kid and I've told her something needs to be done or the kid is going to have some very serious health issues sooner rather than later. All that accomplishes is angering her. She tells me to mind my own business because she's been raising him for 10 years on her own and knows what she's doing. All I can do is keep trying to talk sense to her and hope it sinks in someday. My whole point behind this story is a child does not get that big on their own. You are enabling your daughter. I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend you but that's the truth. You need to realize that and start doing something about it before it's too late.
