Hey everybody, how has your week been so far? Anybody having any family plans for the weekend? End of season amusement park trip with the boys and friends planned here for the Sunday! How do you approach the issue of weight/size limits on certain amusement park rides for your kids?

No rides habe set weight limits, just limits on fitting in the seats or the safety equipment. Of course rides with very narrow seats are not worth a try, but most were just fine. Lots of walking around though, but despite that, we had a really nice day there. How is your week coming along? Been very busy here, so we have been ordering food or eating out a lot so far. Happy weekend is approaching!

I like that more. It's good if you know ahead of time that you probably can't go then you are not so disappointed. Hopefully your 10 year old won't have any problems.
Reply from Eric, Child's Age 14 - 09/09/23 - IP#: 78.156.5.xxx Hey! Great, always a good thing discovering new restaurants! Been there yet? Are you going swimming at the beach or a pool? We have a pool at home, but going to the beach is also nice sometimes. At the amusement park a few of the rides are not possible for me and the 14 year old due to size, but some of them work. The 10 year old does not have problems due to size, just a few rides are age limited. We are going with two friends of the 10 year old and one of the 14 year old, the latter is also in a bigger body. Luckily they know the issue and won't be disappointed. I just hope the 10 year old won't face any challenges this time.

This weekend we plan to go swimming. So far there have been no problems at amusement parks but I imagine there will be in the future. It is certainly frustrating when you are sent away from the ride because you weigh too much. Sometimes you don't know the limit. Maybe you can check the weight/size limit beforehand on the internet. Just out of curiosity are the friends also bigger? Will they have any problems?
