Hey How is everyone in the first month of the new year doing? With like regular life back and all the stress from the holidays being over
Reply from Thomas, Child's Age 14 - 03/11/25 - IP#: 172.226.104.xxx I see. Looks like there are some other big kids in his class. Over 200 pounds is big at that age. Makes it easier not to be alone with the weight. Especially at that age. Some of Benjamin's friends are bigger too. Some weigh as much or almost as much as he does.
Reply from Jesse, Child's Age 16 - 03/10/25 - IP#: 174.202.3.xxx Kevin is the heaviest boy in his class. He and some of the other big boys in his class compared weight and he's the biggest by 15 pounds
Reply from Thomas, Child's Age 14 - 03/10/25 - IP#: 172.225.194.xxx It looks like Lane has lost some weight. Kevin is getting big for a 10 year old. But as long as they are happy and healthy, I guess everything is okay. I can't get Benjamin to stop eating either. He and his friends have no problem with their weight. They have an otherwise normal social life.
Reply from Jesse, Child's Age 16 - 03/01/25 - IP#: 174.202.4.xxx Kevin now weighs 221 and Lane 357. Kevin turns 10 next week
Reply from Thomas, Child's Age 14 - 02/24/25 - IP#: 172.225.240.xxx It can be really difficult. I'm actually trying to get his weight down too. But sometimes I think having a good relationship is perhaps more important. It's really not easy. Do you know how much they weigh? Is it still within reason?
Reply from Jesse, Child's Age 16 - 02/13/25 - IP#: 174.202.0.xxx I've given up trying to get the boys to limit their eating. Too much stress. I just let them eat. Let night we had a party size lasagna, marked serves 10, plus salad, followed by a cherry pie. No leftovers. Kevin's birthday is next month and we'll see how much he weighs
Reply from Thomas, Child's Age 14 - 02/08/25 - IP#: 104.28.64.xxx It's the same here. I tried to get Benjamin to be healthier because we really stuffed ourselves over Christmas. But so far it hasn't worked. He's also often out with friends and they go out to eat together. It's not easy.
Reply from Jesse, Child's Age 16 - 01/30/25 - IP#: 174.202.2.xxx January has been frustrating. Right after New Year’s Day I tried to cut back on servings and portion sizes for both boys. Because Lane has a car and a part time job it's difficult. I had my hopes for Kevin, talked with him and him and me walking more and eating healthier. Kevin is always hungry, whines and pleads for more food. It's wearing me down. He doesn't look like he's lost any weight
