From Courtney, Age 18 - 08/16/12 - IP#: 76.77.234.xxx Click here to reply Ht. 5'4", Start: 223 lb, Today: 223 lb (BMI %tile: 98), Goal: 140 lb - Hi, I have been on and off this site since I was about 13, ive always really struggled with my weight, when I would try to loose weight I didn't have the propper tools and never followed threw because at a young age I didn't understand that my health was at risk, but now I understand...my mom is diabetic and my sister is on the verge of being one, and I don't want to end up like that... so tomarrow I start my first exercise class and I'm kinda excited to loose some weight (: please wish me luck!

It may seem too big while you are in the middle of this so try to set smaller, shorter goals to get you there. For example, lose 10 pounds by the end of September. Seeing these smaller successes will give you the encouragement you need to keep going when it feels like things aren't happening fast enough.
