I posted this in response to one of the posts, but I want you all to read this...because I'm sure many of you feel this way: "I have had days where I finish like a WHOLE cheesecake. And why did I do that? BECAUSE I was depressed about a guy!!! On top of that, my friends started acting all weird so I felt worse. The result? I gained 10lbs in 2 months of being sad. I guess my advice to you is...don't let ppl around you mess up your goals. I feel for you, I truly do. I hate screwing up my healthy eating plans. Anyway, tomorrow's another day...and keep what I said in mind. I hope the 10lbs thing scared you...cuz gosh...the weight gain is 10X worse than whatever my friends can do. " ~*Kendra*~
Reply from mk, Age 15 - 03/22/05 - IP#: 70.57.134.xxx i totally agree with you. friends shouldnt have the power to make us destroy our goals, dreams etc. The only thing that matters is how you feel about yourself, and how you are gonna make things work. I had a bad bout with some of my friends this year and went through some bad depression, coming out with extra lbs. But i now realize that it doesnt matter what they think, besides, true friends make the world easier to bear, but they shouldnt make you bear the world. Love alwayz
