Well i have a few questions that i've been wondering about and i was wondering if anybody knew the answers to my questions u could tell me. OK......... Why should u drink like 8 glasses of water a day, does it help u to lose weight faster or what? Why shouldn't u eat past like 7:00, i mean if u have like a granola bar or peice of fruit after 7 and exercise after is it still bad? And what should i do if i get bored and think about food and want ot eat, how can i ignore my cravings??

Reply from anne, Age 17 - 06/25/04 - IP#: 216.66.107.xxx water is essential to anything your bpdy does. it helps your body function better and it will help flush things out of your system along with keeping you away from constipation. and when you exersize you need more water because you're sweating and useing it. there is no real answer for the eating past 7 other then it will cut out calories because anything other then that is still just a myth. exersize is good at anytime, although i don't suggest right before you go to bed because then it might be hard to fall asleep. if you get bored then find something constructive- turn on your music and dance or go for another walk, even if it's just for fun and not for exersize- i love walking and listening to music it's never boring to me. as for the thinking about food part: just don't do it. you can push those thoughts out of your mind. it's completely possible to do and that's how i stay on track- i just don't indulge in allowing food to take over my mind. it's really hard and i had to work on it but the more you do it the easier it becomes. good luck@!

Reply from nicole, Age 12 - 06/24/04 - IP#: 68.144.138.xxx well water contains nothing. by means it has no fat few carbs and low cal. so you are putting little in your body that isnt harmful. you should eat after 7 because it slows down your metabolism, but i guess it is ok to have a fruit or something light after 7 not just like a 3 course meal. to avoid cravings drink water!
