Today: 225 lb, Goal: 150 lb - hello everyone, I am new to this whole blubberbusters thing. I think it's cool that I've finally found a place where I can talk to other overweight teens and find out information! I weigh 225lbs, and hope to get down to atleast 150, but I'll work at it. I was just in near death car accident, and realized that I need to change my life. How ever, I have been depressed, because my car was my life so I've been eating so much lately and not doign a thing to lose any of the weight. In the past week I gained 8 lbs! I would love to talk to all of you to get much needed motivation. If anyone has any deit or exercise tips lemme know! I hope to talk to you all very soon, thanks 3 Erin

Hey Erin, welcome!! I think everyone will agree that two of some of the top 'rules' of losing weight are you must drink plenty of water and get plenty of exercise. Weight loss is pretty difficult without either of them. Also like Renee I'm on a low-carb diet (emphasis on trying... another rule, don't get too upset if you cheat once in a while =D) and I'm counting callories too.

First of all, Welcome! Second, I'm 230lbs and I'm really short...4'10" to be exact. I am trying to eat less carbohydrates (sugary things and breads..stuff like that). So far, I haven't been able to cut them out nearly enough, but I'm not giving up. Hope you start to feel better and become who you want to be.
