I have just discovered this site because I feel I need help with my weight. In my health class today my whole class had to take a body-assessment test, which tells you you percentage of body fat and weight, and such things that deal with your weight. I also had to take my blood pressure in my health class. It was really embarrassing because the arm wrap wouldn't fit over my upper arm. I got realy upset and began to cry. It was really overwhelming to have that happen to you when your very aware that you are overweight in a class full of skinny people. It was hard for me to acknowledge my condition. So, now that i have realized I need help I was hoping posting here would help me out.

i'm so sorry! *hug* don't let it get you down though. Just consider that your "turning moment." which is a moment you NEVER want to have happen to you again (or anything similar to it) Take it as motivation and don't let it keep you from being happy.

i know exactly how you feel! that happened to me when i was in 7th grade and it was really embarassing. What you need to do is get motivated. You also need to do a combination of cardio and things like pushups, curlups, etc. for a workout at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Also, cut out junk from your diet. pop, candy, chips, etc. good luck! how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
