Ok, here's the problem, I'm 14 years old, i weigh 230 pounds, i recently shot up 10 pounds during the summer and you can tell i've gained weight cuz my jeans are really tight. I'm so scared that I'm never going to be a healthy weight and look good, i cried one night to tell you the truth, I've been in Karate for the last 6 years, and I'm starting Cardio Kickboxing with my instructor, and during the fall she's making me run track with her every Sat. morning! I havent had the chance to go on a diet I've been soo busy and every time when i eat something fatty i say to my self, "youll burn it off in class tommorro" and i end up eating donuts, pizza, chips, ice cream, that's my normal meal, if you can believe that. I dont feel good everyday about my self, i want to skip meals but the other side of me says you cant cuz it slows down your metabalism, and thats how u gain more weight, i know what to do and what to eat for a diet but my mom goes grocery shopping and never brings home veggies or fruit, just junk. I'm usually not home when she shops, i wanna go shopping with her but I'm soo emabarresd to tell i want to lose weight, there's probably no answer to this problem, i know if i eat right i will lose wieght cuz i pretty much work out 2hours a day, 4 days a week nonstop, but i can figure out a way, any1 can give me ideas!
Reply from Shellz, Age 15 - 09/10/04 - IP#: 82.41.19.xxx hunni ive been there, had the tears and got the laughs!!! this is very hard, but hunni, dont concentrate on that, concentrate on losing the weight im a size 20 now i want to lose the weight and b down to a 16 by christmas so that when my mum goes out to by me clothes it wont b in all them old shops were the old grannies shop, it will be fashionable places like 'Logo' or 'New look' teen shops, if you try and set a plan to lose weight you will be able to hold ur head up high and go into shops like this, your probably thinking she dusnt know how hard this is, well doll i do, ive wanted to kill myself, ive been bullied ive had it all but its all in ur head all you need is the will power something to inspire you and once you see the effect after the first month it'll be a walk in the park, try it sweetness,... its making me happy slowly but surely... write back soon ye xxxx
Reply from girly!!, Age 13 - 08/29/04 - IP#: 65.69.55.xxx girl you got most of your problem solved, you got great exersizing all you gotta do it cut everything you eat in half like if you usually have 3 cookies have 2 and ask your mom if she can get less fatty foods and just act casual when you say it and then walk away she will just think your mature if you dont make a big deal out of it good luck!

She bought me a work out video, adn she is buying healthier foods. I think if you tell your mom I think she coudl and prob. would help you out.
