i'm going to highschool next year. ive been over wieght almost all my life and i want a new start. i wiegh 157 and im 5ft 0inches i want to lose wieght in time for next year.as soon as possible. i wiegh 157 and i want to wiegh @ least 120 by august. iwant to b happy with me. i want to walk into to that new school and have people barely reckonize me and say is that you you look great!. i want to b noticed and i no that its not my wieght that matters but it does to me. every time i try to lose wieght and it just starts 2 work i stop n break down.. i liked the idea of the braclets with things that motivate you. i also want to b skinny enough so that guys will like me especially this one guy.. if you have any advice like excerises, a diet,lowfat recipes, or anything uve seen or tryed thats worked either email me @ No1KnosWutizLike@yahoo.com or post...

You could try the 2-4-6-8 diet...basically, that's where you eat 200 calories on the first day, 400 on the second, 600 on the third, and 800 on the fourth. It REALLY works. Also, make sure you drink alot of water because it will fill up (without the calories), and being dehydrated can slow your metabolism down. And EXERCISE! Every day! Cardio would probably be the best. Maybe you could start by running one mile a day and working your way up from there?

I have the same problem. I am 188 (was 210!) and 5'7.
I want to lose 30 lbs. this summer. I hope I can.
All you need to do is put a smile on and don't be sad about your weight. Or else you will put yourself in for failure.~~~~~~

Hey, I have been overweight for a while too. A little encouragement - last August I was 168, today I am 148. You can succeed. But if that "one guy" will only like you if you're skinny, you might not want to attract him anyway.

i am also going to hs next year and from readig your post u took all the words right out of my mouth. i am going to try to do weight watchers this summer. i am playing volleyball a lot and doing yoga to try and help. u see, i also HAVE to lose weight for sports and to make my boobs smaller... if not i have to get surgury so if u want to like be diet buddies or somethin lemme no!!!!! girl i know exactly what your talking about . i started out as 160. fist i decided to eat 900 calories a day (300 calories per meal) then i decided to excercise at least 30-45 min a day. if you drink lots of water and stuff you should be on a good start. just try to not think as food as something to eat rather think of it as fuel, hey try looking for Jay McGraws new book for teens called "the ultimate weight solution for teens" its really helpful

hey me too, I have been overweight since the age of 7 years old and I am tring to lose weight now. I weigh about 163 and in 5 ft 4 in. the only problemwith me s my stomach. I am also going to highschool next year and also wont to lose weight. I loset 3 pounds today just by dancing around the house for 30 to 45 min. I hope I gave you some advice. I hope you lose the weight you wont to lose.
