Reply from Taylor, Age 16 - 02/15/10 - IP#: 75.66.56.xxx There isn't a whole lot of advice to give, the only way is to eat more healthily, pay attention to the nutrition facts on food to make sure what you're eating is healthy, because a lot of times certain foods can seem like they'd be healthy when they're really not. And count calories, and you should probably be eating about 1800 a day (seems like a lot, you may hear the minimum is 1200, but that's for adults, for preteens and teens, supposedly eating any less than 1800 calories a day can really damage your growth and development). And the other half is make sure you're getting LOTS of exercise, probably about 30-60 minutes a day, and of things that really get your heart pumping and may make you out-of breath and uncomfortable, but you need to do it anyway, and eventually you'll get more used to it.
