Ht. 5'5", Today: 170 lb (BMI %tile: 93) - Hi, I'm 17, 5'5" and weigh 170lbs. I'm fed up on being so large and flabby. I'm always made fun of at school and my friends are all normal weights and shapes. My best friend is the same age and height as me and weighs 128 - that's over 40lbs less than me. I have a 42" waist and i can rarely find any trousers that fit me in regular shops. What really hurts, thought, is that i weigh more than my dad, who's very tall and my mom, who looks quite chubby. Help, please!!!

i was 170 and 5'5" when i started losing weight now i'm 153. what you need to do it first take control of your diet. know how many calories you're consuming and eat 1500 a day(so that you can stick to it- you can cut down more later) make healthy eating habits such as only drink water for drinks and eat more servings of veggetables daily. also- cut down on mayo- butter- stuff like that. when your diet is something that you can stick to start adding in exersize to your plan. and it's ok to cheat every now and then but once you've cheated get straight back on it. good luck!
