Ht. 5'3", Today: 165 lb (BMI %tile: 98) - hello all, i am new to this board! i am 13 im five foot 3 and i weigh 165 i really want help...i have been struggling with my weight all my life and it hurts when im always made fun of its not fair...anyway i was wonder if anyone can give me some advice on the SOUTH BEACH DIET? like what do you do ?? what kinda diet is it? hopefully its better than atkinsit didnt work for me so if anyone can help i would apprcaite it!! thanks a bunch!!

hey sweety let me tell you we have much in common I am 5'4 165 also, the south beach diet, the hollywood diet all "those" juice diets a BAD for you. All you do is mix it with water and go you can only have that for like 2-4 days, the faster you lose weight sometimes means the faster you gain it back. Maybe try the raw food diet, you can eat anything you dont have to cook, there is more to it but you seem young to diet just try to eat healthier and exersice, walking fast burns more calories than running believe it or not, just have fun also try not to concentrate to hard on what you eat otherwise you will become anal about everything and nothing will work
